
I have decided to begin a blog regarding my training with Beth toward completing a half ironman.....We started the New Year off with a 30 mile bike ride 2 hours 11 minutes and 15 seconds which was tough on the sitting area, but manageable. The weather was beautiful with a no wind. We weren't pushing for speed since it was the first activity after being off for three weeks.
Today created the workout calendar and planned the events that we will participate in throughout the year. The goal at this time is an Olympic Tri in September 2012.
Ran two miles with Beth. Completed it at 22:59 however it felt difficult and I could not catch my breath. Beth seemed to complete it with ease....
